About Us
Welcome to Treasured Roots!
Our story begins in 2004, when a guy born and raised in Hoopeston meets a gal from a small town in Indiana. They fell in love and got married 6 months later in 2005 and settled into their first home in Hoopeston, Illinois. Elaine grew up helping her Grandma and Mom in their gardens and later worked at a garden center. While at the garden center, Elaine studied with her Mother to get their Master Gardener certifications.
Both Brandon & Elaine always dreamed of having their own business and when the former Flowers & Gifts by Molly Culbert came up for sale in 2014, they jumped head first into what became quite an even bigger adventure than they ever dreamed of.
Through a hail storm, water damage, a fire, and many other trials and tribulations, Treasured Roots has held strong and really started to grow into their Treasured small business! Brandon now works full time at Hoopeston Maple School, which enables him to still help seasonally at Treasured Roots, and to be with their two sons during the summer break.
Treasured Roots Flowers is a full flower shop with fresh florals for all occasions; from birthday bouquets, to weddings, to sympathy arrangements and all life’s milestones in between. We can also deliver up to 22 miles away!
Treasured Roots Gifts is ever evolving with current trends! We try to make sure our gifts are always new and fresh, while offering something for everyone and for all gift giving occasions, including gifts for yourself!
Treasured Roots Garden Season might be our favorite time of the year! In the spring we open our outdoor Garden Center and fill it with perennials, veggies, herbs, blooms, hanging baskets, containers, and so much more! All season long our sunroom is filled with lush houseplants. We are always trying to bring to the store the hottest new plant and rare finds! In our sunroom you can also find plant care items, pots, and decor.
Treasured Roots is rooted in pride in our small town of Hoopeston, with treasured family history and values, but most of all Treasured Roots is Rooted in Love!
